Cut and construction: the details that make the difference in the water

Armholes and support

Our one-piece surf swimsuits are cut with raglan sleeves to allow for unrestricted movement while paddling. The supportive fabric hugs the body without constricting, firm enough to stay in place while paddling, yet flexible enough to absorb a fall comfortably. No slipping straps, no gaping back: every seam is designed to stay put, even underwater.

Racerback and reversible options

Depending on the style: deep racerback for maximum shoulder freedom, plunging back for a bolder look out of the water, or reversible surf suit for two outfits in one. The Jubai reversible system uses a double layer of technical fabric assembled without seam allowances, keeping the back flat and free of bulk.

Resistance to the elements

The technical fabric used withstands prolonged UV exposure (UPF 50+), is resistant to seawater, chlorine, and sand. It retains its elasticity and color session after session, unlike consumer swimsuits that lose their shape after a few weeks in a marine environment.

Materials sourced from sustainable supply chains

Our one-piece surf swimsuits are made from technical fabrics based on recycled fibers, including recycled polyamide sourced from fishing nets and plastic waste recovered from the sea. This is a logical choice for a brand born on an island, whose designers live in the water. Technical performance and eco-responsibility are not contradictory: the same high-density fibers provide support, strength, and durability.

Small-batch, handmade production

Each Jubai surfboard is individually sewn in Guadeloupe, in limited quantities. No overproduction, no dead stock: we make what is ordered, at the workshop's pace. The result is a piece whose quality of finish is visible to the naked eye, with flat stitching that won't chafe under your wetsuit.

Maintenance and lifespan

A well-maintained surf swimsuit lasts for several seasons. Rinse it in cold water after each session and dry it flat in the shade; Jubai technical fabric retains its elasticity and color without fading. Less frequent replacement, less waste: that's also what eco-responsible beachwear is all about.

Each Jubai print is hand-drawn by our founder, inspired by the flora, colors, and energy of the Caribbean. No designs are purchased from stock; they are original creations, printed in small batches on technical fabric. Two surfers in the water wearing the same Jubai swimsuit? Unlikely. The colors are ultra-saturated, designed to remain visible and vibrant even when wet, even under a cloudy sky.

Available in sizes XS to XL, in cuts adapted to all body types, high-cut thighs to lengthen the silhouette, more covering cuts for greater freedom of movement in the water.
