Our surf bottoms are designed to stay put. A flat elastic waistband, supportive fabric that hugs your hips without constricting, and an anatomical cut engineered to absorb movement without riding up or down. A bottom that comes loose during the first wipeout is a distraction in the water—and a source of unnecessary stress. Jubai bottoms stay exactly where you put them.

Resistance to friction

Repeated contact with wax, the board deck, and sand is the number one enemy of swimsuit bottoms. Jubai technical fabric is woven at a high density to resist abrasion without thinning or deforming. The seams are flat and positioned to avoid areas of direct friction with the board.

Cutting options

Depending on the style: high-waisted briefs for enhanced hip support and maximum coverage while paddling, classic low-waisted bikini for a bolder look out of the water, or built-in surf shorts for longer sessions and exposed spots. Each style is available with a straight side or a tie side, allowing you to adjust the fit to your body shape.

Resistance to the elements

The technical fabric used withstands prolonged UV exposure (UPF 50+), is resistant to seawater, chlorine, and abrasive sand. It retains its elasticity and color session after session, unlike mainstream bikini bottoms that ripple, fade, or lose their elasticity after just a few weeks in a marine environment. No see-through when wet, no elastic that breaks at the end of the season.

Our surf bottoms are made from technical fabrics using recycled fibers—recycled polyamide sourced from fishing nets and plastic waste recovered from the sea. It's a logical choice for a brand born on an island, whose founders live in the water. These same high-density fibers guarantee support, abrasion resistance, and long-lasting durability.

Small-batch, handmade production

Each Jubai bikini bottom is individually sewn in Guadeloupe, in limited quantities. No overproduction, no dead stock: we make what is ordered, at the workshop's pace. The finishing touches are visible to the naked eye—flat topstitching that doesn't rub against the sewing board, low-profile seams that disappear beneath the fabric.

Maintenance and lifespan

A well-maintained pair of surf bottoms lasts for several seasons. Rinse in cold water after each session and dry flat in the shade: Jubai technical fabric retains its elasticity and color without fading or puckering. Less frequent replacement, less waste—that's what eco-responsible beachwear is all about.
